The Clothing Bank bins have arrived!
Thanks to our generous donors and sponsors, we now have seven of our very own clothing donation bins!
Spread across various communities in and around the Leeds and Yorkshire area, these bins will be hugely impactful in helping our volunteers collect and sort your second-hand clothing.
Not sent overseas, not resold, and never in landfill
In contrast to many of the other charity clothing bins you see, our bins will be 100% owned and managed by The Clothing Bank team. Many other charity clothing bins are actually owned by recycling companies, sending clothes to landfill or selling it overseas.
The donations within The Clothing Bank bins will be recircled straight to the local communities that they came from. This means that the only people who will profit from the bins will be the people here in the UK who are living in clothing poverty, and most in need of our support.
Find our clothing bins at:
- The Clothing Bank, Low Street WF11 9HH
- Royal British Legion Car Par, South Milford, Leeds LS25 5AT
- Knottingley Rugby Union Car Park, Marsh Lane, Knottingley WF11 9DE
- Micklegate Car Park, Selby YO8 4EA
- Main Street, Burton Salmon, Leeds LS25 5JS
- Cottonwood Miners Welfare Scheme, Knollback Lane, Brampton, Barnsley S73 0TU
- Byram Park Social Club, Old Great N Road, Knottingley WF11 9FF
All of our bins are marked with The Clothing Bank logo, with no recycling company number on them! Some of our bins do feature the logos of the charitable companies who have kindly sponsored them, as a gesture of our thanks.
We look forward to introducing more of our own clothing bins soon in the local villages around Brotherton and Yorkshire.
